Living Colour frontman Corey Glover headlines the annual Foodstock Concert this Saturday, Dec. 1 at The Chance in Poughkeepsie.

We are looking forward to this weekend's Foodstock 11 concert at The Chance headlined by singer Corey Glover and his band. Living Colour found immediate success and rose to fame with their debut album Vivid in 1988. The album went platinum in 1989 and the song "Cult of Personality" won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance and the band won the Best New Artist Award at the MTV Video Music Awards. The band released two more albums (Times Up and Stain) before splitting up in 1995 and eventually reuniting in late 2000. Rolling Stone magazine called Living Colour “funk metal pioneers”. Living Colour released their sixth studio album Shade this last year. The annual Foodstock concert is helping out Sparrow's Nest, Dutchess Outreach and the Children's Home of Poughkeepsie. Come out and support a great cause and a great, diverse lineup of band's. In addition to Corey Glover, other band's performing include Robert Cahill Band, Snaphammer, Zero Chance Society, Ian Flanigan, Nemes and DJ Joey Hernandez. I always make it a point to be at Foodstock each year and you should too!
